Zinc alloy lag screw shield anchors are designed to be used for anchoring and fixing the objects in the concrete, masonry or brick base structures. It is composed of two heavy-duty zinc alloy shields with two small locking clips assembled together. The surface of lag shield anchor is designed heavy spiral external threads to produce better friction in the pre-drilled hole wall and enhance the expansion coefficient. The interior of the shield is designed protruding thick plate armor to enhance the tightening force when the lag screw is fastened inside avoid loosening.

    Lag screw anchor have the short type, which is suitable for the hard masonry and the long type is suitable for soft masonry, being available the short and long styles from the sizes from 1/4" to 3/4". For installing, need to use lag screws together to expand concrete lag shield to fix the objects.  

     Having good anti rust and anti-corrosion functions. Heavy internal thread is used for inserting and fastening lag screws to fix the objects in the masonry or concrete site. After installation, the fixed object can be removed because the lag screw shields are still in the concrete and can be removed by loosening lag screw.

Installation Instruction:

❶ Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the correct diameter and no precise depth required.

❷ Use a nylon brush or high pressure air pump to remove all debris and dust.

❸ Insert the anchor body into the pre-drilled hole in the base material. 

☞ Place the end with locking clips upwards.

❹ Knock it with a hammer till the end of the anchor is flush with the base or slightly lower.

❺ Pass lag screw through a guide hole in the fixture, vertically align with and insert into the pre-drilled hole.

❻ Fasten lag screw by tool till be fixed fully.
